Hiking through the snow at the lower parts of hills creek we see a winter wonderland of trees rocks and animal tracks. The lower part of hills creek is a wonderful place that is secluded and hard to find. The winter roads are nearly impassable unless you have a four wheel drive. As you can see there is a point that there is no longer any vehicle tracks on this road and trail that we are following. There are big ravines that cut across the snow covered trail and roads that make it impassable to trucks and cars. I personally am glad for that as it keeps the are more pristine.
