The Forests in West Virginia are wonderfully beautiful during the winter snow season. These Creeks and streams show some of the splendor that a snow storm can bring. One of these images is from Manilla creek in Putnam county near where we live. The others are from the eastern mountains in the Monongahela forest. One being out eagle creek trail and the other near the entrance of the forest at cherry river. There are some wonderful paths that follow the creeks and streams and this is what we saw when we traveled just a short distance into the forest following the snowy creek.
