Snowy Winter Waterfalls

During the winter season waterfalls can be especially hard to photograph. The Snow and ice can present some challenges that other scenery does not. In these two winter waterfall examples we see one of the highest waterfalls in West Virginia captured during a downpour of snow. Then we also see the base of the same waterfall a couple years later with snow and ice built up at the bottom. The base of this waterfall was shot with a telescopic lens from a couple hundred feet away.
